Hehe. First birthday in US.
Today started slowly. Very slowly. 12 Noon Slowly. Junyong invited me over to his place for lunch. He was cooking laksa. Not bad. But the Udon didn't really go that well with the laksa. Too bad we didn't manage to find the white noodles here. But overall, it was good. Just a little too much for 2 persons.
On the way to his place, I thought I'll buy a cake for myself. Was craving for a little cheesecake. So I went to a place called Cheesecake Factory. They sell lots of cheese cakes, but they also serve lunch and dinner. Here's the cheesecakes I bought. 1 slice of original cheesecake and 1 slice of while chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.
And here's me going to enjoy the cheesecake.
After that Kevin and Linda invited us to go visit the science museum. Its a weird
building. Weird color and weird shape.
The space needle was also nearby.
There was also a little funfair nearby.
However, we didn't do anything there. The science center was closed becayse it was veternan day. The space needle was a little too expensive at $14 per person. But the main reason was that the queue for everything was so long. There seems to be many people everywhere.
With nothing much to do, Kevin suggested that we go home depot. He needed a door mat for his home. The place was huge. With lots of things to buy if you planning to build, renovate or repair anything in your home.
With nothing much to do after that. We drove to Krispy Kreme to have a little donut. Hehe. Look at the wonderful variaty of donuts.
The best thing is that they make the donuts on the spot. So its nice and soft.
Here's the lovely couple, Kevin and Linda.
And for dinner, we met Kevin's sis and her husband for dinner. We went to a Thai resturant "Typhoon" for dinner.
For desert, we had Fried banana (YUCK!) and mango (yummy). For those who don't know, I hate banana.

wah.. my bf looks so slim now. faints.. Haven't been eating well? Pls take care.. the cheesecake looks yummy but the whipcream too fattening liao
